Minimalism: Part 4 (Time Management)

When I read books about organization and minimalism, I was mostly focusing about space. It was only when the author in Organization from Inside Out spoke about time did I realize that I need to also organize my calendar. I should minimize time spent on unnecessary activities while focusing more on my long term goals.

I read plenty of books on time management recently and this post will be talking about all such books.

Minimalism : Part 2 (Organize)

If you have not already read my earlier post on Minimalism, please read it here. In my previous post on this topic, I talk about the books that got me into minimalism and what I learnt from each of those books.

From last few years, I have been trying to downsize my belongings and trying actively to buy less. I have not been completely successful but I am heading in the right direction. I cleaned all the rooms and got rid of all the junk at home last year. Having gotten rid of everything that was not bringing me joy, I am now mostly left with stuff that bring me joy.

Random post

Life has improved a lot as I started my new job. I am loving the new team, manager who is extremely soft spoken and the work which is quite interesting. I am trying to learn everything and fit into the new environment. I am definitely not missing my old team and work that I did there. 🙂

Life update

It’s been long since I spoke about what’s going on in my life. I guess it is time for an update. Life with a toddler is pretty tough. Especially a toddler who doesn’t care about food or eating. Every time he eats something for lunch or dinner, we feel we have accomplished something. He is so full of energy that we get tired easily, running after him. My day starts after he is asleep at night. That’s when I read books, browse the Internet on my phone and feel like I have some “me” time.
