I changed my blog’s url for multiple reasons. One of the main reasons was that my teammates got to know the address and the other reason was that I wanted to do it for a long time now. Many friends knew about my blog and it was something which made me uncomfortable sharing too much about my personal life. This time I am going to be more careful about whom I share the blog address with.
I am going to lose a lot of readers because of this shift. I was writing in the same blog for 10 years. Yes! I completed a decade of blogging. So this new blog is going to be a fresh start. I hope to continue blogging for 10 more years. 🙂
I like the look of this blog. 🙂 I know what you mean by how it feels when people get to know your blog. I notice I’m censoring some stuff from my blog because so many of my friends read it.

A decade already, wow! Time flies 🙂
I also moved my old blog to WordPress, I needed that change but I lost my older readers.
And I totally relate to having too many ‘real-life’ people knowing about my blog. My anonymity means everything when it comes to expressing myself (and stuffs!) 😀
P.S. I hope you blog for ever…. 🙂

Exactly, anonymity is very important in order to express freely without people judging you. Thanks Guria 🙂

Cheers to Bookish Muggles and looking forward to the 10 years of your posts. I guess many people I interact with in person don’t know I blog, and those who know I blog have become friends via the blog or blogging platforms. I don’t share my blog posts on my main personal fb page.. just keep it to the fb page on the blog.. makes sense!

Thanks Pins 🙂 That’s great.. even I want to do that. With my previous blog, too many people knew about it and I had to think twice before posting something there.
